Virtual CloneDrive
http://www.slysoft.com/en/download.html

Works just like Daemon tools but you don't have to install some kind of adware or toolbar with it.

Ultimate Boot CD
http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/

This is a great little program that your system can boot incase your PC ever goes acting like a woman. Its filled with useful tools and cleaning apps to help figure out what the problem is and fix it.

Maybe it's better if you guys put some sort of codes in front of the name of the programs ; like [Freeware] , [Shareware] , [Crapware] , something like that ...

Winmerge - open-source utility for comparing differences in files. Very useful if you've got duplicates of files and you're not sure what the differences are.

CloneZilla - open-source ghosting software.

Today is a web-based app

TineyChat. Think of it as a web site that does IRC, full desktop sharing, webcam, voice, and pretty much everything else. No extra programs needed. if you can run flash then you can use this.

Ever uninstall a program only to find it has left a slimy trail of files and registry entries? Then Revo Uninstaller is for you.

It uninstalls any program you want, then searches for left over crap and deletes it. It works great for trial software, as you can use Revo when they expire and then you can start a brand new trial.

game booster
http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.html

kills worthless processes like printer services, auto updates, etc while you play games to free up some resources. you can restore them at any time. it's pretty useful.

advanced systemcare

http://www.iobit.com/advancedwindowscareper.html

does a lot of things. spyware removal (spybots better), privacy sweep/junk file cleaner (same as cc cleaner), registry fix. most these features are featured in other programs, but it has a really good optimization program for services and registry. it can also backup your system whenever you tweak something which is useful if you somehow mess things up. pretty user friendly, so that shouldn't be a prob.

there's also a good defragger in it, an uninstaller similar to revo, file checkers, internet/browser tweaking for faster speeds, a really good system info/device manager, and some other crap.

Core Temp. Very cool free program to monitor your cpu temperature incase you think its warming up too much or you are testing some overclocking speeds. Its very cool.

Best thing about it I think is it shows how hot your cpu is when nothing is happen and what the maximum heat it goes to when you play games. Awesome.

try out hwmonitor from cpu-z's devs. it displays your system fan speeds, temperatures, and voltages for everything in one window.
