Force Unleashed II, True Crime 3
Force Unleashed II is good news, but sure about TC unless it's much better then the first two. Though there's a new developer working on this one.

Well
The next True Crime game is set in Hong Kong. That has my interest. As for Force Unleashed 2....

Agreed, maybe Old Republic will fill some of that void. Unleashed was way too short and easy, they should try harder if they are making another one.

Seconded. It's a shame the Jedi Knight series got so completely shoved to the side and ignored.

I had high hopes for Force Unleashed, but I didn't get into it. I also tried the PS2 version, which is terrible. If they make the combat feel more like combat I would give it a go.
As for True Crime; Streets of LA was the last I ever wanted to hear about the series. The graphics do make it look way better. Last edited by Northeastmonk; 12-13-2009 at 06:45 PM. |

Well, the improved Sith Edition has a lot more content. It's pretty likely that the sequel will be better since they'll have established foundations to build upon.

I enjoyed the first Force Unleashed. It had it's issues, but it wasn't a bad game. The force powers were fun, but never had much varied use in the levels or with your character. I really enjoyed the story aspects and that it had a very similar feel to the kind of story you would get in a Star Wars film or book. Reminded me a lot of the first time I played Shadows of the Empire. They could make some minor changes and have a game that is every bit as enjoyable as Jedi Academy.
Increase Force usage. Have falling damage, which you can negate with a careful force push. Have fewer enemies resist force attacks, but allow them to reduce damage instead. It's not as fun to be stuck using your lightsaber (which needs to cut off limbs) against a stormtrooper, on the other hand, if I have to throw them around more often, that becomes more fun. But the fact that they don't die as easily means groups can be more deadly. Refine the controls a bit and put a bit more effort into your graphics and it would be a great gaming experience. Touch up the boss fights too. Make the reaction combo things more punishing. Most the time you just have to keep repeating them until you get it right. It has a lot of great potential, so I will not complain about them making the game. I'll instead hope they take what they had in the first one and make a better game. If they can do it with Assassin's Creed II, they can do it with Force Unleashed II.
