Anti-virus ratings

They put some of the antivirus programs on test and this is what they came up with.

Avira seems to be the best again this year, thats 2 years in a row. I'nm pretty happy to see Kaspersky still up there too. The new free microsoft scanner is doing better then I expected too so thats good news for those who dont want to spend money. My biggest surprise though was Bitdefender and Avast dropping, and wtf has happened to sophos. It used to be one of the best out there.

Anyone see Norton? Oh thats right... ITS SHIT ISNT IT.

I use AVG and I've never gotten a virus thankfully. Then again I don't download random things of the internet either.

I got a virus a month back and I dont download random things either. Thing is do you know if you have a virus or not if your scanner cant pick it up and tells you you're clean. Thats the real question.

No malwarebytes? I know for a fact it kills three of their top four.

Lol, Norton. I had that for a bit. I don't think it actually did anything except pop-up at the worst possible times.

I use StopZILLA and surprised it aint even on the list. But meh, it works perfectly fine for me. And I DO download random things off the Internet. ;)

How about I send you the root kit I had a while back and after you try all those to remove it you can watch as malware removes it in 10-15 minutes

Then I'd have to use the hospital to get rid of that virus!

Anybody who uses AVG should switch over to Avira. It's a million times faster and easier on your system. There's a nagging popup ad once a day, but it's easily disabled.

Shaselai I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and it works great. I also used it with Vista 64.

Here's a link with several methods of disabling the popup screen:
