Really not cool news for Starcraft II

Wuz up Guyz,

Im really not a PC gamer. Probably, because I never had that super powered PC when I was a youngster. But, like every rule, there's an exception. There's a one pc game that I really enjoyed n still playin' from time to time with a couple friends n that game's Starcraft.

For y'all who also enjoyed SC, Im sure you're excited about SC2.

Sadly, I think some of you who enjoyed SC will be piss about this.

Pretty serious decision. But like all leading game industries, they gotta plan for the best in the long run. While LAN is still pretty big, it seems more like it is slowly dwindling from my perspective.

Also, c'mon! It's Blizzard. They know what they're doing. Battle.net will probably will be a lot nicer for SCII anyhow. They probably have their own good reasons for doing this. Although it is painful.

Its a bit strange they'd not put LAN option in since so many people still play games at LAN parties all over the world. But chances are the massive fanbase will create their own program that will allow lan play.

I was thinkin' that too. But will Blizzard allow that? With their new Battle.net service they'll probably detect those modifications to their game and ban those players.

Blunderbuss, I know its Blizzard and I'm pretty sure Battle.Net will be nice n all. But I think is too soon to say that LAN is on its way to extinction.
