I was about to say "the battle system of Wild Arms has NOT aged well in the past decade or so)", but then I remembered getting into some kind of headbutting match with somebody over that subject in the past.

Now I'm wondering if I'm just imagining it and it never happened. I guess all I can say is that Wild Arms is probably best remembered as a catchy intro video.

I bought Prototype for the PS3 the other day. Didn't really have too high hopes for it when I bought it, but got it because it was on sale. I must say, though nowhere near as good as iNFAMOUS, this game is really fun. Something about knowing that you have huge amounts of power makes the game a blast.

That was the very first thing I noticed.

I have fond memories of watching my freind play the opening prologe of the game, and I'm loving these old 2D RPG's I never got to experince, but the minute I saw the battle graphics I thought "what did I just buy...."

This game is going to push even my limits of putting up with bad graphics. The music, sprites and so far story are good though so it will be fun, but goodness.

EDIT: Anyways, Darklord is awesome. Like 4 hours straight 2am awesome.

Sometime this week I have to buy a charger cord and batter pack for one of my 360 controllers. The damn pack on one of them doesn't work. For some reason that pack won't work on any controller, even if i switch it to another. Not sure why it screwed up, I hadn't used that controller in months and it hasn't been dropped or wet.

I bought some various odds 'n ends lately. Let's see if I can remember them...

Kirby 64, Ecco the Dolphin for Dreamcast (and the strategy guide), Wario Land 1, and De Blob and Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops for burpingcat. Hmm, I might have forgotten something. Oh well.

I also bought a bunch of consoles and stuff that's piled up in my room right now (3 Dreamcasts, an original Xbox, an Atari 2600, a couple of Gameboys, a Neo Geo Pocket Color that I gave to burpingcat, and some games for all of them). I got them all pretty cheap, so I'm hoping to make a little money off of them.

Not that deep, more like snorkeling, swimming and just making it safe to use in rainy weather and protecting it from the sand on the beach.
