LMAO..Some funny stuff. Ahh...the good old smoker smell of some used games.

It's not a game, but my Chaos Reins Tempest 2000 rotary controller for the Atari Jaguar came in the mail today. Woot! Jeff Minter wrote in rotary controller support into the Tempest 2000 code, even though Atari didn't have a rotary controller for the Jaguar. Now I can play Tempest 2000 the way it should be played. The knob is heavy and made out of metal and spins nice and smooth, just like a rotary controller in the arcade.

Bonus points for the GameFan magazine on display in your shrine there! By the way, where is the pic of the rotary controller? Is that it on the 3-button pad? I didn't even know the Jag had 6-button pads. Are those official?

I should change the title of this thread to something like The Latest Game (and other stuff) You Bought. That way it could be games, game-related items, cheeseburgers, etc. Yay? Nay?

I bought Pokemon Emerald through NeoGAF's buy/sell/trade thread.

Bought it for 18$.

About a day prior to that Gamestop tried to sell it to me used, without a box for 40$.

Even the employee knew how ridiculous the price was. I told him what game I wanted and he said "Are you sure about that?". At first I thought he was going to give me shit for buying a Pokemon game so I was ready to vehemently backhand him (tell him it was for my wife). He then told me it was because of the price. We walked out the door immediately.

Yay!

Yes, the three button controller is the rotarry controller. The pic is kinda at a bad angle. The six-button controllers are official Atari Jaguar ProControllers. They're semi-rare and usually go for like $30-$50 on ebay. The joypad and buttons are of a much better quality than the standard Jaguar controller. They're also great for all the awesome fighters on the Atari Jaguar.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Not that I buy anything ever but games!

I am going to say it again, you are better off with platinum. You are going to miss Darkrai with that thick head of yours.
