The new cover art is trying to be like Metroidvania cover art, which it doesn't need to be. I guess I should be thankful that Richter and Dracula look somewhat male.

Ayame Kojima did the artwork for Castlevania starting with SotN then Chronicles, Harmony of Dissonance, Aria of Sorrow, Lament of Innocence, Curse of Darkness and the last game being the PSP remake of Rondo of Blood. You can unlock both the original SotN and Dracula X title in the PSP remake too.

They should have brought back the late 80's early 90's anime style from the original Rondo! That rendition of Dracula always cracks me up.

Can you play as Maria in the remake?

Yes, everything from the original Rondo of Blood is present, plus a few new things like the boss I mentioned earlier and boss rush mode. Plus you can unlock SOTN and the original Rondo as Jimmyjojo mentioned, so it's a great value.

Granted, you'll never figure out how to unlock them without going to GameFAQs or some shit. Many of the sounds in the "original" Rondo have been altered, SotN as well seems to sound different. But you can still feel how much better and smoother it plays.

True, finding everything is pretty obscure. SOTN has totally redone voice work (a plus IMO) and Maria is somehow playable in it (but she doesn't play the same as the Saturn version).

Probably because of the lack of drones. I hear halo is massive on gamefaqs where the average age is 15.

not played it yet .. probebly won't either as i'm not a big fps fan .. but its meant to be quite good .. the only people who will hate here are tit thats think its cool to hate coz its halo or nipples that will hate as its not on their system of choice, but will then go on to rave about lesser fps games that are ex it.

Hey I have the first 2 halo games and I beat them! I still didn't like them, I got them when they came with the system when I got the first xbox.

compared to other FPS games, I didn't see the big deal in it. They're alright, I just don't see the hype. Mechwarrior was awesome! too bad MS didn't keep making those games.
