Red Steel 2 apparently being handed to another developer because it's not going well. Online co-op and release in 2008 likely.

Resistance 2 to start with a bang. Vehicles in multiplayer.

Treyarch developing CoD5. World War 2 again.

Animal Crossing Wii to be a sequel and possibly a MMO.

Gears of War 2 will have much more emphasis on story and it will be darker.

I would rather they would confirm Persona 4 for a US release, SMT is likely to be on the PS3 though PS3/XB360 would be better as it needs all the help it can get to sell.

That's why you should be careful changing the developer mid-series guess they made a bad choice.

SMT is a PS3 exclusive...that has been known for ages. The game just needs to be fantastic and marketed a bit. The cost of porting it to the 360 is too high for a game like that. They'd end up losing money.

yeah same here, though all dynasty warriors games get horrible reviews, yet I love them to death, so who knows

SMT has been on the original XB already in Japan. With the sells advantage of the XB360 over the PS3 in America/Europe I would think a port would be worth it even if it was only released outside Japan.

Well this is EGM, same people as 1up.com

I know everyone does the whole "I can't trust the media omg bias" song and dance about every major gaming site. But I disagree, I think EGM/1up.com is quite possibly the worst of the bunch. Its not just the scores they give games, but its the reasoning behind the scores they give. After frequenting their site for the past year and recently getting their magazine for free, I dont give a second thought to any of their reviews.

If I were you I wouldnt give up on the game based off what EGM/1up.com says. If other reviews come in terrible then decide from there.

It won't be. For one thing, by the time SMT gets released here it will be 2009. The gaming landscape will have changed more in Sony's favour by then and the audience for SMT is very small (very likely to have PS3's by that time).

M$'s lineup is just pathetic. I hope they announce some worthwhile stuff soon.

Odd that Wii has no mention of Fall 2008 titles. PS3 and 360 are looking a bit thin at this point for fall 2008. I will be highly surprised if FF13 makes it out in 2008 in the US. And why can GT5 prologue come out, but not GT5 in the fall? They are really stretching out that time frame there between 4 and 5. And how can they forget Saints Row 2? No RE5?
