Got Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles
But no zapper with it.
It's actually pretty fun. You get to shoot tons of random objects in the background and some of them reveal hidden goodies. I like how the knife is implemented (hold A and shake). Good for small creatures zooming in and when zombies grab you. The control is very good. You can use the analog to look around and throw grenades by holding A and pressing the B trigger, and reload w/ a shake. You can aim anywhere onscreen, naturally, and some stages offer alternate routes. I've completed the Zero missions and what's cool is that besides the standard mission, you unlock another side-mission within each game. The bosses can be a real bitch. For example, the snake boss in the mansion is only vulnerable in the mouth which he'll open just before attacking so you have to be quick to stop it. Other bosses require QTA like quickly shaking the remote before attacked or having to plug the boss at just thr right moment. That's as far as I've gotten but it's cool and the game is huge and long to boot. Visually it's one of the Wii's best, though that's not saying too much, but it looks on par with RE4. Everything is real-time except for some FMV cinemas for the story progression. You get graded after each mission and depending on how well you do, you'll unlock content such as extra missions, files, weapons, etc. If you're into light-gun-style shooters and would like to try something with more meat on its bones, go get it.

Can you believe this game is around 15-20 hours long? That's friggin long for a light gun game.

Does the game look like Resident Evil Remake? From the screenshots it looks like it does, which would be cool since its 3D and not pre-rendered.

Yes, I can verify its long length. Just the first chapter to RE2 took me around 20+ minutes alone, and there are side-missions which tie-up loose ends, such as how Albert Wesker survived after Tyrant killed him in RE1.
It looks almost as good as RE Remake. However, the pre-rendered areas in both that and Zero are still superior graphically and in terms of lighting, but this is all in real-time and looks great. Speaking of Remake, that's what the mansion in this is based around, which is basically an enhancement of the original.

You're Jill Valentine and *someone from Umbrella*; Don't know yet who's in the side-missions. It starts on the streets with cars on fire and stuff, and there's tons of enemies, so you'll want to blow up nearby barrels and cars. The boss is a bitch so use a rocket launcher if you have one (you ought to by that point).

I still think they're going to remake RE2 for the wii, with RE4 controls, but this time, it will be a huge raccoon city that you get to walk around, now that would be kewl!
