And it's lack of games is alienating gamers.
Seriously, I might not have much on the Wii or the 360 given my rather strick standards, but there isn't a single f'ing game on the PS3 worth owning. Maybe when Metal Gear Solid comes out, assuming it doesn't jump over to become a 360 multiplatform title...then maybe there will be one. In other news, at least the PSP is finally getting some software worth picking up. Even if they are basically ports, at least now they are portable.

Well I think Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is pretty interesting, if ratings are good it is worth getting.

Warhawk, RFoM, Heavenly Sword are all good games I've gotten so far. Will be getting Folklore, MGS4, Drake's as well.
Not much as far as exclusives yet but once/if the multiplats ever start looking better on PS3 than they do on 360 then I'll be more inclined to buy the PS3 versions. I think pushing back HOME and with GTA IV being delayed is 2 big blows to Sony this holiday season. Looks like the only thing after Folklore I'll be buying for PS3 this year is maybe 2 rumble controllers if they make it out b4 xmas.

I played the demo to folklore, I like what I saw so far, but I will probably get it when it goes cheaper.

Oh no Sony will have another price drop by the time GTA IV is released, or a pack in if they are smart, but yeah

I was looking forward to Folklore but I noticed reviewers were saying something strange. IGN loved it to death which gave me a little hope, but majority of others say its repetitive, kinda boring, but really pretty, so I'm thinking IGN are graphics whores as we all know so maybe that influenced the review. I've basically put the game on permanent hold if I ever get my ps3. Going to see what friends think of it. Pity noone I know owns a ps3 loloololol.

I guess X360 is also leading in europe still.
Its really looking bleak for sony with 17% market share. I already saw the new 399 euro model on sale but i thought why get it when theres no games i want? :/ Gonna save up for a new PC instead.

Combat has some unique features and makes great use of the sixaxis I would say, but ,yeah, it becomes very repetitive. What I like are the way conversations are done and the comic stripes that are shown, but it seems that gameplay has some minor technical issues. I haven t played the game, just from what I ve seen and read, but if you ever buy a ps3 (I believe you will once MGS4 comes out), you should take a look at Folklore, it s worth buying it at budget price the most and renting it the least. More to the point: Who would shell out $400-500 for a system and a game with a two-days-at-most life-span? I don't want to spend $60+ on a game that gets old in two days' time. I remember paying $50 for the original Sonic and playing it for over two weeks! That's what I call value. The games they make these days just aren't very good. Even the Phantom Hourglass got boring fast.
About the sales figures.... all gaming is these days is a popularity contest. Everybody spends more time discussing stuff like this online than they do playing the friggin' systems -- because they're all BORING!

I dont go over that friends house currently. I have zero desire to see him show off ps3 games I could care less about. And MGS4 is not going to make me buy a ps3. I hated MGS3. So 4 is ignored till down the track when I can be bothered to touch it. Its also multiplatform so if I really wanted I could play it on the xbox. Its going to take some magical to get me a ps3. Like ZOE3.
