Everyone says Tekken is crap, ok, thats fine.... but WHY?
Is it because its a button masher? Soul caliber on the dreamcast was a button masher, but everyone loves it. Is it because the characters are way too similiar to each other? I don't know... both armor King and King have enough different moves to make them stand out, I know the Panda bear and Jack share similar moves... but they are still very much different and require different tactics to use.

No tekken is just broken. Completely unbalanced piece of garbage. Tag was completely a mess but, its coveted as the greatest tekken ever. I say it was 4. Yes 4. Kiss my ass tekken fans.

Tekken 4 was the worst in my book. Tekken 2 and 3 were the highlights. One was acceptable as it was their first and all. 5 was medicore, that's all. Soul Calibur is still the best 3D fighter in my book, easily better than any DoA. Itagaki can criticize Tekken all he wants but I played Tekken 2 and 3 far more than any of his DoA titles. And even though Tekken games are primarily button mashers (so is DoA, for the record), at least you never begain a round getting knocked down steps or something, having about 50% of your health gone within 3 seconds. Also, Tekken 2 and 3 had better soundtracks than DoA. About the only redeemable thing going for DoA are its graphics and, for those who care, fan service galore (the reason it sells).
