I was waiting for a decent price & income tax time and these haven't really been out that long hence the only $20 recertified. Most likely someone got it and needed the money back. Internal tuner is what sold me though. Perfect for the bedroom and last a while there when I upgrade my living room.

BTW, that was a sweet deal. The lack of 1080p is made up by the price and he amount of features.

All in all, an excellent purchase!

beh 1080p is over rated right now the only thing that uses it is bluray.... even most PS3 games are 720p. Mostly because of the price 720p will be going for at the end of the year.

Well, I'd like it since I see myself watching lots of 1080p in < 1-2 years. I still have 1.2K to pay on my laptop, so maybe I'll buy a new Monitor this Christmas. I'll definitely check in on yours to use as a base when I start browsing.

Is the TV tuner just for the monitor or can you record cable? I've been writing down some numbers on how hard it would be to digitally archive a whole season of baseball for my team.

Game Time Average: 160 minutes (no commercials)
Games a Season: 162
Data Size per season: 2 GB
Total Data Size per Season (Not counting All star Game/HR Derby/PostSeason): 324 GB a year.

If I could burn them on DL Blu-Rays, it'd take 7 Blu-Ray discs.....

Newegg f-ing rocks. I bought my 19" widescreen monitor from them.

It supports 1080p resolution, but my video card doesn't have the hdmi output for it.

What's the cheapest video card with HDMI? Yes I am cheap.

My video card does support 720p using the regular connection though, which isn't bad and will at least let me HD in 720p.
