ARRRRGHHHH. I'm pissed, 360 number 3 has just died

I can't believe it, my third 360 hs just died on me, its giving me the four red flashing lights of doom (again). I have had 3 now, each with a new seriel number so its not even the same console that keeps breaking.

Its kept upright with loads of room to breath, i never it it on for more than hours or so...im ultra careful with it.

Although i enjoy my 360, when its not fucked or with microsoft for repair/replacement i am totally fucking sick of it. The build quality of the 360 is by far the worst in the history of consoles. I've never has any other console break down on me once let alone 3 times on 3 seperate units

Im sure some of you will say yours is fine and you,ve never had any problems but four of my fiends have also had to send their 360 back...its not fucking on Microsoft

But.. but Viva Piñata? Damn, worst of luck Murray. A friend of mine got one for Christmas and it broke down 2 days later, so you're not alone, if that helps.

my girlfriend is out with friends tonight and i was gonna blast VP all night....now im gonna have to finish red steel instead which is a bit of a chore in comparison.

I know im not alone, i would love to know how many console have been reaplaced or fixed, i reckon it well over 500,000. i know about 15 people with 360 and four have had more than one unt

I dont get it. Why do they all keep dieing? It has to be a specific part. Just rebuild the part from the ground up. And fix the issue.

Newer XB360's don't have the problem as far as I know it's only the older ones.

lol, mine was actually the opposite. my genesis broke down once and my snes played perfectly.

I used to pull my Mega Drive to the floor and it would just bounce. My Saturn and Dreamcast and N64 all work fine! I have had my Xbox die on me though. Microsoft were good and replaced. I am coming up to a year now and to be honest if it lasts me another year I will get the new verson with the 65nm thingy. Its quieter... cooler and would have a larger hard drive and HDMI> I feel your pain though Murray...

Three red lights is dead. 4 means a connection problem to the tv. If you havn't allready try unpluging all the cords and plugging them back in.

I really really hope you havn't been sending in console with a loose connection.

Well i tried a mates componant cable, it did the same thing, i tried a VGA cable and it worked for a bit then the picture boke down into a series of squiggly lines then i turned it of, tried again and got four red lights again. Its not the inputs on my TV either cos the wii is working fine through the same componant ins

That'll teach you not to upgrade your pc and instead buy some dodgy console to play pc ports on!

it sucks that they all keep breaking. since I renewed my warranty through EB I figure i will just play mine to death and, if it breaks, so be it, I will just return it and get another. I am tired of babying this stupid system. That sucks murray and hopefully your next one lasts till next gen.
