Shocked Biohazard 4 Video

YES YES VERY NICE FOOTAGE THANKS TO IGN. IF you want to download the video go to www.new-blood.com

I must say that, if the graphics shown are in real time, then this most be based on the successor to the Gamecube! Trust me it looks that good! thanks to new-blood.com!

I think they pulled it off by playing FMV during gameplay.

I saw a couple of screenshots and they looked great! I heard the main character is Leon when he was still working for Umbrella, Even though I'm not a fan of the series, I'm gonna dig it! REzero sold more copies than Mario Sunshine!

From a technical stand point. No game has reach the level of Rogue Leader technology. A game that pushes 1 million polygons is a lot, Rouge Leader push 16 - 24 million polygons(not raw polygons) depending on the level with all special effects included, bump mapping, dirt mapping, texturing, shadow, etc, there isn't a game that likely to do this for a while. The Star Destroyer in Razor Randevouz stage alone is 300,000 polygons, the most ever used for any game, not to mention the X-Wing is 30,000 polygons alone. While it doesn't take much polygons to have good graphics, Halo 2 polygons count is actually lower than Halo 1, Master Chief model is slighly reduced, this is true with RE4 as well, it doesn't uses as much polygons as RL, it looks better than what I seen of Halo 2.

As you can see, Rogue Leader is a monster polygon pusher, while RE4 is not, and it still looks great.

Yes I love Capcom, and can't wait for RE4, I'm a fan of Factor5 as well, since the SNES days and can't wait to see their next project, which is said to destroyed their Rogue Leader game. ;)

Rogue Leader screens look awesome, so does the game, but people can't really see it well during game-play because the game moves so fast and you always keep your eyes on your ship and not the surrounding, as you can see it in still motion.

Yes i must say, Rouge leader looks astonishing! I own it! but like you said, RE4 shows more effects rather then polygon pushing power like rogue.

But one wierd thing about the rogue screens are that the textures all look as though they are mapped using 2-5 colours. This enables developers to push the hardware to display more polygons.

I really hate the flight movement in RL though. It feels like the background is moving around, not the plane itself in some missions. like the first one where you have to take out the turrets. it just feels stiff and awkward
