New LOTR DVDs
Quote:
It came out a couple days ago. I dunno about the rest of the world, but for Australia it'll be out in December. So I'm thinking Europe should be around the same time or a little earlier. I'm kinda stuck really. I would love to have the movies on discs I DONT have to swap when I watch them. And the new behind the scenes documentaries will own all as they're the most interesting ones in the special editions. and the packaging is lovely. What will I do with my older special editions? Considering they have other documentaries, I guess you could say I'll end up doubling my libarary. OH FOR SHAME!!! Alan Lee! |

Because retards don't have the attention span to watch movies that last longer than 90 minutes.

What he said. If you've read the books and always wanted a movie on it, you'll know of all the scenes that didnt make it in and OBVIOUSLY would like to see as much as possible from what was cut.

I remember Tom Bombadil from the first book vividly and was suprised to see him left out of the story, saddened almost because I enjoyed that part.

Yeah it was a bit sad he wasnt in it. But I can understand why they left him out. There'd be too many questions revolving about him.

Not to mention it would have probably sucked on film. Would have been pretty hard to find an actor to play that role without looking like a complete douche.

Are they blaming the actors for them milking the movies by re-releasing them instead of releasing the documentaries? I think so.
