F*** YES! After over 20 years the Boss song has finally been officially arranged!! This video is awesome.. it's like bringing back memories and creating something new at the same time, I will be counting down the days for this one... At first I thought the 'chibi' thing was really dumb, but the style actually looks decent in motion.. kind've like FF9.

it's actually the N64 graphics engine that's running FF3 on the DS

this is what the FF7 was going to look like on the N64

That was actually just a tech demo of FF6 they made for the, at the time, "Ultra 64". Much how Sony made a tech demo of FF7 for the PS3.

I've actually seen the videos of those screens in action, it looked pretty neat, especially for it's time.

Also, had the N64 been capable (space-wise) of harboring FF7, it would look the same as it does on the PS1 (cutscenes most-likely excluded). Having a different publisher doesn't mean the developer has to submit to a certain atmosphere or style.

Looks ok. Wasn't too impressed with the boss' theme.

There's a point, Paper, at which you might need to stop.

Uh...those FFVI images are from a demo called Final Fantasy VI: The Interactive CG Game. While FFVII was in development for the N64DD at one stage, it had nothing to do with that demo and no media was ever released.

On topic, FFIII looks great, but whats with only one character being available? In the NES game you start off having all four characters.
