Yep, they announced it at this years TGS. Very cool if you ask me.
I haven't played a 2-D fighting game since SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millinnium, KOF: Dreamatch 99 and Samurai Showdown 2. Might have to get back into 2-D fightin'!

It uses the dreaded EO system. Meaning players can pull of supers and special moves at will. So you'll be seeing plenty cheapos online doing Blanka cannonballs while walking forward.
Not my cup of tea. I'll stick to |

Your half right, 8 bit Orgy. The easy system is called the GC-ism on the NGC, it will probably be called Xbox-ism on the XB. Thankfully, Capcom has included AC-ism, for arcade controls.

Word of advice here:
I play arcade fighting roms online. Even with 100 ping, it's unplayable. Fighting games require a large amount of precision. And a 1/4 to 1/2 second delay when doing everything takes quite getting used to. |

That's waht I was about to say.. but it doesn't mean it can't be done (See OMF 2097.. though that wasn't as fast paced as this could be..).. you just gotta tweak it so is all.. don't hold your breath.. though the BB only approach helps it.....
