I was playing this over at a friends place for a bit. A little DoA4 and the poor mans UT2004, also known as PDZ. I need to stress, the poor poor mans UT2k4.. Anyway. I might not be aware of this but I dont seem to notice any option to MUTE THOSE FUCKING VOICES while playing a game. It seems if you're on xboxlive for the 360, you HAVE to listen to their voices. Its bad enough listening to those annoying american teenagers sputtering about while playing a poor mans version of UT2k4, but when it comes to other countries like the french, it sounds like fucking Charlie Brown. So is there a way to turn this off, or is it another BLESSED feature of live?

And how is PDZ? Reviews seem to very generous with the game though it seems to have more flaws then perfection. I was wondering if the forum's biggest PC fan would agree wit that.

Start, Xbox Live, recent players, mute.

The mute feature is a godsend.

PDZ is a poor man's Halo.

I'll have to check out for that feature next time I'm at my friends house if he hassles me to play it again. As for PDZ... I dont kid when I say its a poor mans UT2k4. It actually tries to be exactly like it. Whats amusing though is when in multiplayer mode, the graphics are obviously scaled down to support the extra people. Which is sad cause the game doesnt look that crash hot from the start. They've slyly gotten around the problem of low ping by using auto aim. So if your LARGE sights are near the person, the bullets hit them. I dont get how headshots work in that game though. You can aim perfectly at their head WHILE they are standing still and doing **** all, and yet you wont HS them, but get HS in return while running along merrily.

The game is also one huge camp fest. Friend found a platform high up and grabbed a rocket launcher. Just fired at people below and then reloaded as the launcher respawned beside him ala UT style. So if someone tried to come up to get him, he just fired down the corridor and the splash damage would kill that person. He racked up like 40something kills before getting bored and running down.

So I had a play with it for a while. Messed with some of the vehicles, all 2 of them I think it was. Played witht he shotgun and sniper etc. Its fairly plain eally. One GOOD feature I liked was you can set your gun down as an auto sentry. **** knows how that would work in reality, but it was an interesting feature. To be fair I cant give the multiplayer game more then 7/10 at BEST. Just because you're playing with other people doesnt make a game better. For what they offer, its fairly poor. And the way the dead bodies vanish by turning into a scatter of SQUARE BITMAPS, thats just brilliant. My favourite part of the game. The POWER of the 360! Or more like the SHITNESS of the developer.

I try to force myself to play through PDZ and I just can't do it. It is so boring and not even fun. The one thing that kept turning me off what the stinking escort/stealth missions throughout the first few levels. I wish Oblivion, Fight Night, and GR:Advanced Warfare would hurry up and come out.

It's a pretty shitty game but I like to pop it in once in awhile and play some infection. It's fun being a skeleton and running up to someone and taking their gun and killing them with it.
