Don't worry, I won't be posting too many threads like this; but since I'm new to the forums, I like to see the taste/opinions of the members I'm not yet acquainted with.

Xbox: KOTOR 1 & 2, Panzer Dragoon Orta
I refuse to make a final list for the other two, especially the PS2. They are not dead yet...

This thread shouldn't exist until the Rev. and PS3 are out.
Let's do a best of 2005 thread instead. |

The strength of this generation has to be its action games. Last generation they sucked, but this gen, action/adventure games have been the best, IMO.

I think Baten Kaitos 2 has a good chance making it here.

I agree with Decado. Games like Ninja Gaiden, Devil May Cry, Onimusha, Metroid Prime (well, it can go in other categories I guess) the first Dead to Rights (not the sorry ass 2nd one though)Otogi and God of War have been some of the best of this gen IMO.
I think one of the most overlooked gem of this generation was Beyond Good and Evil. I would go as far as to say it is Ubisoft's best game period. And I've tried alot of their games including the Prince of Persias, Splinter Cells, and I loved Rayman 2 so that's saying alot. I thought BG&E was just brillant, and I'm sad that it sold so poorly there's a good chance there won't be a sequel. But I'm still holding out hope. Some other overlooked games would have to be ICO and both Shadow Hearts. Last edited by justin_credible; 12-21-2005 at 12:03 AM. |
