My Greatest Gaming Accomplishment

As most of you know, i play ragnarok online. Now while most of you hate it for the redicolus level grind, i found it to be my first real challenge in a rpg.

Ive played for 2months shy of 2 years now. Never creating another character, just soley working on the one I started 2 years ago with.

Well after all the hard work i finally did it. Level 99. Ive dumped at least 1,000 hours into my character. This is by far the greatest accomplishment ive ever done in a videogame. I just would like to share my greatest gaming moment will all my MB family

Here are some pictures. When your level 99 in RO you get a special blue aura around you.

Me (the preist in the center)

This is me and my wife

Me and some of my guild

I dunno, im just a bit excited that all ^___^

How much does this game cost to play it online?
EDIT: Never mind. $57 for six months; how retarded is that? The game looks interesting, but there is no way in heck that I am spending that much.

That's only about 10bucks a months which doesn't seem all too bad (just a little over $2/week). When I first seen your post I thought you said it was $57/month, but I skipped over the word 6

Yeah seriously guys. Why do you all complain about an online fee thats only around $10 a month?

You buy a new release for your console in the store for $50. How many hours of play do you get out of it untill it hits the shelf? 40?, 50? 70? Im not talking JUST rpg's either, this includes shooters, platformers...

I play rag at LEAST 2 hours a night. thats at LEAST 14 hours a week, or 60 hours a month. $10 dollars a month for at LEAST 60 hours of fun?

RO hasnt gone stale for me in the 2 years ive played it. Ive been playing the same game for at least 2 hours every night and im still having a blast.

Look at the cost per fun hour ratio before you start complaining about paying for an online game. $10 for 60 hours is a DANG good deal for me. Heck, to go to the theatre and watch a mediocre movie for 2 hours is almost $9

SavedfromSin you can try it for 15 days to see if you like it, and if you end up liking it just buy a 1 month. If you end up only having fun for 10 hours before you got sick of it, then you only payed $1 an hour.

Are Assassins with 100% Criticals and insane evasion still over powered?

nope ^__^

They get pwnd in PVP and get pwnd vs monsters. An assasin can only handle so much while a preist (like me) can handle mobs 2-3 size of the sins limit. Assasins strength is 1 vs 1 on defensive characters. They attack fast and perice defense.

Think of it like rock paper siccors. Assasin beats Defensive (like crusaders), Wizards beat Assasins (cant dodge magic), and Crusaders beat wizards.

Good they finally got that sorted. Perfect accuracy and ultra high dodge didn't seem to be what I would call balanced.

They still have perfect accuracy, and tons of dodge. ^^;;

its all about balance, the assasin excels in those areas, but thats it. It cant do anything vs magic or mobs.

One of the problems with rag though is ALL the boys pick assasins. And 90% of them have the mentality of "Im the dark crimson sin of black death, with the heart of a lone wolf". Flippan wannabees.
