Neverwinter Nights 2 screens
w00t! Despite the first one needing a little bit more oomf in it for me, the second expansion was legendary. I'm really looking forward to this one. Cant wait! Though I doubt we'll see it before end of next year. Unless they really surprise me.

NWN was one of the worst D&D RPGs ever made. Really don't expect this one to be any good since it doesn't sound like the developer is getting the go-ahead to change the mechanics much. That, and single player/multiplayer RPGs are always a disappointment.
It disgusts me to see games like this being made. |

Dude- NWN was AWESOME. (Just not the single-player campaigns)
Are they including everything thats in NWN now? All the classes? Including prestige? They'd better... or else, POW! Straight to the moon! But.. I don't like how these screens look like I'll need to upgrade my video card. AGAIN.

When you upgrade video cards always buy one thats more then you need. It'll last you far longer!
I didnt like NWN setup. As in the way the game played, like go here fetch that and return to me, repeat x 1000. That pissed me off to no end because I didnt really feel like being a mail man. But the engine was great and the system was done fine. I would just like them to make the campaign alot better. More along the lines of Baldurs Gate style. And yeah, its was excellent for multiplayer. It makes me wonder if they purposely built the game AROUND that idea and then made the single player game. |

All thats said so far is Obsidion. So the guys who did...the second KOTOR I think. If thats them then we're in for an excellent story with depth.

![]() NWN2 will be no different and the single player game will suck just as horribly as the 1st game (and the multiplayer will only be good after a year of patches and mods). PS: The NWN engine was crap. |

PErsonally I always thought NWN was a bit of a poor diablo clone with an in-depth D&D-like character developing system.
The levels didnt feel organic enough for me. ITs liek everything worked in "tiles" - square rooms, rectangular caverns, flat plateau levels, not only were the fetch-me quests repetitive, but the levels itself werent that varied either. But I did liek the combat and the character developing, and the open ended aspect of some of the quests, even if the quests themselves were bored. They should combine the level design of Dungeon Siege with the masses of quests and the character development system of NWN - that would be a pretty game.

That's too bad, because Diablo really sucked.
