http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=25902 I don't know if it's a reliable site or not, but for some reason they're saying that they're cutting the backwards capability with DirectX 9 and lower. They better not.

How about graphic cards Alucard? Think our current DirectX 9 video cards can run DirectX 10 software?

Depending on the card you got. The 6600 and up should all be able to run it. Though in 2 years if you have something below a 6800GT then theres little point. X800 and up will be fine too.9800 could be a bit too old.

Hrmmmm then it is time for an upgrade.... lol. Im using an ATi Radeon 9700 using omegadriver's drivers which is running any game properly right now. But hearing this will make me get an X800 or higher lol. Thanks for your reply Alucard.

9700 should of lasted you nicely till now. But an X800 would be an excellent upgrading. Make sure you check what type of X800 though cause theres different ones like the XT, XL etc,. And dont be shy of geforce cards!

Hehe lets just say im more accustomed to ATi cards and im pretty much an ATi guy. I don't have problems with GeForce its just that the first card I had was ATi and I got used to it and its Catalyst software. But yeah when it comes to the next-gen cards (well maybe cards which are better than my current one
) then it won't really matter whether its GeForce or ATi as long as it does its job. Im thinking of an ATi card upgrade as soon as I recieve my pay from work lol. Thanks anyway Alucard you've been helpful.
