one of the great things about magic box is the constantly updated number for console and game data for the japanese market, and i have scoured the internet for an equivalent for american info
the only alternative i have seen is npd which gives a useless number free top 20 chart
does anyone have any leads?
or does anyone have numbers/website for past consoles and games?
for example knowing how many people out there bought tecmo super bowl or the installed base of the tg-16 or whatever?

Most American distributors dont disclose sales data, so there really isnt a US equivalent of Magic Box (in terms of sales data). Toys R Us occasionally posts some figures which sort of gives you an idea of how a game is selling.
