whats a good cd cleaner that fixes scratches?
I got a boxset that was pretty big, and one disc I got was completely scratched somehow, probably returned and resealed :/
but its only the one disc and I don't feel like returning it back to store I got it from cause I bought it online and it would cost me more to probably ship it for one disc and get a new set then it would for me just to buy a cd cleaner to fix the problem so what do you guys recommend? I only have 15 days before I can return it |

That depends on how bad the scratches are. If they're faint then any of those scratch remover things from the store will work. If they're deep scratches I'd recommend sending back the first disc and getting it switched. I had that happen to me last year with a boxset. 2 of the DVDs were screwed to hell and I sent them an email saying NO! Sure it cost me $5 to mail it back, but I dont want a defective dvd. One scratch on those things and you never know what will happen.

Yeah I'd have to agree go ahead and send it back, because none of those scratch removing methods are full proof you could even use one and get the cd to work for awhile, and then the CD would stop working and it would be too late to return it, then you're screwed.

the scartches are faint tho, they look like someone left it on a table and it just built up over time
I might try the cd cleaners and if it doesn't help, I will send it back I got other stuff I can try the cd cleaners on anyways |

Try making a CD-R dupe on your computer. That'll fix the scratches.

I got this Skip Doctor and it fixed my dvd w00t
it still brings up a pixel here and there, but now the episode is watchable and I'm going to try the thing again to see if I can get rid of all the problems altogether
