Morrowind Mods

I've always loved the mod community for the PC user and I've loved the Elder Scrolls series since Daggerfall2. I was looking through the mods again to see what new stuff had popped up and theres some brilliant things created. Not just content to do with characters and items, but new areas, places, races, quests, all created for our enjoyment. Loke one guy created a mod that lets you sneak up behind people and snap their necks for your assasin character. Another created one where you are a vampire and can get vampire followers if you drain their blood and heaps of other things. Also new races etc. So anyway, I was looking through them and thought I'd slap up a few screenshots of the old and some new stuff.

WARNING! Lots of pics...

FIRSTLY! Heres one example of a before and after shot of one texture repack I found. Notice the floor in the first pic and the ones in the other, including stuff around aswell.

.

AFTER!!
.

So not a bad little addition! Next up are just a few select character models that were changed. Heres before shots..

Ok thats enough of before. Now heres some mods. Take note that the heads/bodies are seperate to the clothing. So you might see different models with some clothing below which is all made by modders aswell. So here we go, faces and clothes, made by modders for us to install and play and enjoy..

Now here is a shot of an Inn from the normal version. I couldnt find a shop pic but this is fairly close. Heres an Inn and the surroundings compared to a remake Armoury Shoppe from a mod.

.

Thats about it. Hopefully all the pics actually appeared or I'm going to have a headache. The site is below that has all the mods, and also theres a top 10 list aswell and if you look around theres some nudie stuff etcetc. I only got to around mod 305 of 2876. So theres quite ALOT of content that was created. Anyway hope someone finds this usefull!

Shame the game wasn't 10X better and there isn't a mod that revamps the combat system and everything else

Wow. That's looking very nice!

See, I want the free range ability of this game with combat of Fable. COME ON! THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!

...as long as the combat wasn't like Fable. *shudders*

Combat really has been crappy in RPGs if people think combat from Fable is a big improvement.

I thought Fable's combat system was the only saving grace for that game. I'm not a big fan of ::walk up to enemy character, select attack, click on enemy a bunch of times while you stiffly swing your sword at them until they or you drop.

Combat was fine. You swing differently depending what motion you make while moving and its about tactics and skill. Especially when you're casting magic during it and having allies fight with you. Game was great.

Fable's combat system was a good idea, it was just poorly executed. Combat in Morrowind just plain sucked and never had any potential (tactics and skill for 2 year olds).

I think your main problem was the difficulty. If you installed the patch they released it also gave you a difficulty bar. You put it up, believe me you will need more skill then a 2 year old to beat enemies.

I remember that patch. Useless since the game mechanics sucked. It was the same thing except it took longer.
