This story was in my local paper and I ran across it online too. I thought it be a good idea to share what hackers are starting to do now. As if Spyware wasn't bad enough to kill your files, as if viruses were not bad enough to kill everything, hackers can now lock your own computer files and demand money in order to have them open again.

Computer users already anxious about viruses and identity theft have a new reason to worry: hackers have found a way to lock up the electronic documents on your computer and then demand $200 (about R1 200) over the Internet to get them back.
Outpostnine is that 1%.

Heh. Yeah, go ahead and demand a random, then watch him get arrested by the FBI for cyberterrorism 2 minutes later.
