XMA (Xtreme Martial Arts)
Has anyone seen this? It's a show on the discovery channel were they use motion capture animation to break down all these different martial art styles. Nvidia supplied the graphics animation equipment. They use skeletal models to show what bones are exposed, and use trail animations to follow the planes of different weapons in combat (Tai Chi swords, Katanas, Nunchaku). Anyway, I read it's supposed to air on the Discovery channel again this month on the 30th. So, if you missed it, worth checking out.

that show was insane. I guy shoulder rushed a tower of tricks and they exploded. They didnt topple pver, they EXPLODED. Also a guy jabbed his fingers completely through a soda can, without bending it. Thats through Both sides...amazing...
No im not being sarcastic. The coolest was when a guy crushed a coconut with his fist, and then later informed us that a coconut is alot tougher then a human skull.

i saw this show around last year, but its cool all the same- the martial artists are insane :yikes:

While the martial arts are great, I doubt you'll think it's so wonderful when someone's using them on you.

It comes on tonight if anyone wants to watch. Discovery channel at 8-10pm central. Then it probably airs again later.
