And Mario is still selling strong. I can see why Nintendo doesn't make new games anymore.

Hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Complain about the lack of innovation in Nintendo's camp all you want, people are still buying up those rehashes like they were water.

Why do Japanese like "Pachislot " (slot machine?) so much? Isn't that game Jissen Pachislot Hisshouhou Hokutonoken from last year?!

Pachislots/Pachislo Slots and Mahjong games have always been huge in Japan since the Famicom days. I don't know what the big love is and how its held so strong over the years. To me, slots on the consoles gets boring quickly but I guess the Japanese keep enjoying it. I think the best gambling/casino game I ever played was Vegas Stakes on SNES.

Most people drink up many rehashes like they are priceless bottles of water after a morning jog. It is not just Mario although Nintendo is one of the top offenders, there is your Maddens, NBA games, Rachet & Clank, Crash Bandicoot/Spyro, Final Fantasy, and Dragon Quest games.

Most people while they are afraid to admit like things to be steady, it is only once in a blue moon where people's tastes are changed. I can think of three times when games from previously barely touch genres and series broke into the mainstream minds as classics.
Goldeneye and GTA 3, both sold systems from previously untapped genres on consoles and they continue to inspire game developemt (for better or worst) today.

18. Fu-un Bakumatsu-Den (PS2, Genki)

i would like to know why Genki didnt bother to release Fu-un shinsengumi in west markets. I guess the same fate goes to Fu-un Bakumatsu-Den... what a waste...

It's too similar to The Samurai series....

Sega America also skipped that other Samurai game called Shinsen Gunraw or something.
