Thunder Force

okay, I have played many thunder force games, and i own thunder force V and thunder spirits. which thunder force is thunder spirits? is it the third one? i played thunder force two but i didn't care for the top-down perspectives. i also think i have played part 4, but i cannot remember. did part 4 come to the U.S.? i want to get that for my genesis. that is all.

Thunder Force IV came to the US as "Lightening Force". Thunder Spirits is actually Thunder Force Arcade. The first 3 stages are from Thunder Force 3, then it goes on to a couple exclusive arcade stages (the one flying around in space has awesome music) and then back to a few Thunder Force 3 stages. Not all of the Thunder Force 3 stages are in there, so it's worth having both games. I don't have Thunder Spirits, but I do have Thunder Force Arcade on the Saturn which is, well, an exact replica of the arcade. Thunder Spirits is pretty close.

yeah, i forgot about lightning force. i played that one. it's pretty good. lightning force is the same game that you reviewed, correct?

Yeah, I've only reviewed TF2. I liked it. Of course I am a Thunder Force fanatic. Thunder Force IV (Lightening Force) is super-mega awesome and downright hardcore. TF3 was extremely easy. TF4 makes up for that and then some!

I am still searching for the ever-elusive Thunder Force 1. I want to see (and play) it!

yeah, part 4 is sweet. i am a thunder force freak as well. i love part V. the thunder force series has kick ass music.

i just purchased lightning force for 14 bucks. :yikes:

I've played II, III, IV & V but never the first one. I reviewed IV because that and V are the only two which I currently own, and I like IV more than any other. It's still easily one of the best shooters that I've ever played.
