Im not even sure if Soultaker has a boxset in America. Though it should
I didn't care to much for 08th team and 0032 Stardust like most people seem to.

My favorite gundam series is the 6 episode OVA of 0080 War in the Pocket, I loved it! not a lot of gundam giant robot battles but I loved the characters the animation and the dubbing was really good. and when there was a battle, it was so well done I rewind it and watched them again.

Soul Taker is good but not great, but I love the theme song, I recommend finding the other Taksunoko Pro Super Hero animes before that one tho, like Tekkaman Blade and Hurricane Polymar, Gatchaman, etc and I haven't seen Karas yet but that looks awesome. Manga got the rights to release it over here on DVD. Who knows when tho.

Whoa Karas is done by the same man as Soultaker... damn, no wonder that show has so much style. It makes so much sense now. I didn't really care for, nor finish gatchaman, but I guess ill check out Tekkaman Blade, since thats supposed to be good. Thanks for the recomendations

I got Tekkaman Blade on dvd before I left for greece and I just watched the first episode before I left and it was really cool.

Started out with Blade fighting tons of huge alien monsters and he is tried and getting weak and then all of a sudden is attacked from somewhere, Blade looks up

Blade : TEKKAMAN DAGGER!

and we see another Tekkaman trying to kill Blade!

Just when Blade was about to beat Dagger, he gets attacked from behind by the aliens and stabbed though the back serveral times! Bloody awesome so far.

Tekkaman Blade is in the new Super Robot Wars J for GBA, which has AWESOME ANIMATIONS! you can say they are on par with the SRW games for PS2! if they weren't a little pixely when they zoom in hehe.

Check out the Shin Hurricane Polymar also, I loved it full of great action and comedy and the villians in it are great! But it ended with 2 episodes in the OVA for some reason, I'm not sure if that is the actual ending to the 90's OVA or just poor sales.

oh yeah also check out Casshan : Robot Hunter, made by the same Tatsunoko Pro

They didn't say I guess just because they are based at school, but considering Mahoromatic and Popotan have been licensed and widely released in America they can't be any worse then them now they both did have have underage nudity though never in any underhanded way.

I dont need to see them. I know enough about them and the type of anime that they are. I like comedies, but I dont think just because the genre is loosely 'comedy' should make them any reason to be watched. They are poor! I have won this debate. Admit it my stupid apprentice! Admit it and go to the next level of your training!

Again I will say i say Karas when it was released. And I remember also saying that it took like 3 months for the second one to come out before you "mentioned it" but who cares

Anyways ill watch some stuff by Tatsunoko and see if they compare to Karas and Soultaker, which im sure they will. And Escaflowne, I havent seen any of those either. Im not going to say your taste sucks, but it is definetly different.

their other series are different, but for action wise they are all the same which is a good thing. like Hurricane Polymar is supposed to be like American Superheroes but without the costume they put on of spandex ;) He's sort of like Spider-man when I think about it.

but Tekkaman Blade if you can find it, I think you can download fansubs of it, not sure of the subs or anything to the video tho.

which reminds me, I still got to watch the rest of the old Tekkaman original anime series from 1972 hehe he has a rainbow on his chest.
