GOG game sales
Quote:
I remember playing some of those back in the day. A couple are actually quite good. Septerra Core was definitely unique. They tried to mimick a japanese rpg. Not a bad job from memory, although I wish the characters didnt look like play dough. Click on the pictures on the right side for screens and info of each game. Under $5 each its pretty good. Especially for laptops. http://www.gog.com/en/page/topware_promo/ |

I was wondering, how good is Septerra Core?

Its ok. The world is nice, the story is fine, the combat is good. The playdough style characters did put me off from enjoying it more then I should have. Its a western japanese rpg.

I actually like the character art direction I've seen. Does it played bit like an adventure - JRPG hybrid with some minor WRPG mechanics? I see you do some investigations and ask NPCs that's why.
I like its steampunk feel. |

I guess you could think of it as being like final fantasy style. Roam around and turn based combat.
