I couldn't figure out how to get past the flame dudes (I couldn't kick/punch 'em) so I tried Very Easy and realized all I had to do was shoot 'em. I've been playing on Normal up 'till that point. It doesn't let you switch difficulties at any time. Even on normal that chapter would have probably been the easiest one yet. Obviously your Xbox Live name does not match your forum name... though neither does mine.

Witch time is your friend. Use it, a lot. Even on accident. You can hit the flame dudes if you're in witchtime, or just jump a lot and use the whip.

The 2 dog-like dudes (can't think of the name now) were the effing most frustrating thing in the world-the ones that drop the claws. I seriously cried. They're immune to witch time and if they get ahold of you you're dead in 1 grab. I HATE THEM SO MUCH.

I did it on hard and when I get a chance Im gonna go for Climax mode.

The best way to get halos is stick Durga on your arms and equip Seleene and Gaze of Despair acccsessories then do level 7. You can get up to 2 million halos a time.

I lol'd when I read this. My question is why does Xbox friends system let people know what difficulty there friends are playing a game on?

It's funny because we all know Redifer Pwned Demon's Souls which is no easy feat, as I understand it.

I was thinking the same thing. It's one thing to know what game your friend is playing, but to know what difficulty or where exactly they are in the game is entirely another (and it tells you what your friend is doing in the game). Screw Xbox Live's lack of privacy. I will play the remainder of the game with the ethernet cable unplugged because it really is nobody's business what difficulty I play it on or where I am at in the game.

You can just put your status as Away, if you don't want people to know what your doing. It's in the Settings tab, under Preferences.

that way nobody knows you're an nub

Myself, I like playing all games on the hardest right away for some reason. I laughed when people said the new batman game was hard on hard, LAUGHED it was easy. then I played it on normal and the game was WAY too easy.

it doesn't usually say i don't think ... well i'v never noticed it before anyway ...

i was just drawn to the 'very easy' when i looked to see what my buddies were up to .. Not sure if the xbl status depends on the game you where playing or not.

Oh no, imagine letting your friends know what you're up to, is nothing sacred, it's like 1984.
You've been rumbled playing a game on very easy, don't blame Microsoft, newb.

Hey Murray, if I want to play a game on super-ridiculously-easy mode, then you should have no problem with that. But again, you play devil's advocate on EVERYTHING so I can expect no more from you.

I'm not playing devils advocate, Platinum games decide what info your friends can see when the look at what your playing, not Microsoft.

Hey I dont care if you play on super easy, I just enjoyed poking you in the ribs about it and watching you get all touchy.

OK so it does vary by game? Good to know.

And you didn't poke my ribs, you poked my anus... before I wiped! Pervert.

Yeah not all game will grass you up like Bayonetta, for instance Mass Effect will just say like "Level 23. Soldier".

I poked your anus and you loved it.
