Tales of the abyss 3DS sold above their expectations, so there is hope there. Also the 3DS beeing a sucess in japan over the vita helps. I think namco's problem is their tales audience is on the playstation in japan and its on nintendo in the west.

Really? Where did you get your sales numbers because from what I've seen/heard Tales Of Grace F has sold more in the first ten weeks (around 180,000) then Vesperia did in two years (166,000) in the US.

I got the numbers from VGChartz.
here: http://www.vgchartz.com/gamedb/?name=tales+of It has vesperia with 260k and graces f with 200k. The opening of graces was alot better though, so it will probably overcome it on lifetime sales, but it wont be a huge difference i think. Alternatively it would be a sucess if they grew a brain and released the games on both consoles.

VGChartz =/= reliable. Never use it as a Source, it's wrong more than it's right.

We're only talking about the US KOS the numbers are harder to come by we just have to use what we have.
http://www.vgchartz.com/game/18652/t...-vesperia/USA/ 243,000 after 5 years. http://www.vgchartz.com/game/46451/t...-graces-f/USA/ 181,000 after 10 weeks (Vesperia only old 77,000 after 10 weeks). It's going to sell alot more then Vesperia sold. |

One source, even if not 100% accurate is better than talking outta your ass. I say "your"in general, not talking about you personally, just making the point. And yeah Esca, it will do better lifetime, i just doubt its good enough to convince namco. We havent heard anything about tales of Xillia at E3.

Doesn't matter I don't think they never announce Tales of at E3. Tales of Graces took along time to come over and fully expect Xilla to make it's way in time. I guess we'll find out later.
