Picked up Uncharted 2 earlier today. For some reason I'm underwhelmed. I feel like my hand has been held throughout the whole 6 chapters I've gone through already. Shoulda got Demon's Souls I guess.

I bought the Dreamcast, but I was gifted Shenmue and 9 other DC games in 2007.

Nearly all of my games are either gifts or people getting tired of a particular game and letting me have it.

Been a member here since 2003 and have almost 2000 posts, yet never bought a console game in your life? Strange.

In 2003 I was still in high school (which meant my parents were buying my games).

In college, I chose to not play games and focus on grades, research and internships, but still decided to keep up with the industry. At that rate gifts were enough to hold me over during Winter Break.

That is all.

Well now that you are out of college and have that dream job, it's time for a trip to the store!

I got to stop buying games so I can actually finish em' but I've gotten:

RE4 (PS2) - $10
Maximo 2 - $5
Shinobi (PS2) - $15
MegaMan X - $12
New Super Mario Bros. Wii - $40 @ Best Buy
Dragon Age Orignins (PC) - $20 cause I price matched Toys R' Us' B1G1 half off @ Best Buy

Still have a little money left, but I'll probably save it.

That what freaks and geek do. Regular people study (or work) and play video games. You don't quite.
