Got this in the mail today.

Six face buttons, Redundant shoulder buttons rather than moving them, three modes of turbo fire for any button on the pad, Significantly improved D-pad, and even an analog adjustment switch that changes the sensitivity of the analog stick to suit your level of response. I actually haven't played with it yet but all that's true as far as I can tell.

After I put it trough it's paces I might post a review if anyone is interested to see if it lives up to the promises. At the very least it will give me a fighter pad for 360 and pc, and you can't go wrong with HORI.

^^^^

I saw one of those yesterday and it looked like it might be kinda cool, but they only had blue ones at the store I was at. Let us know how it performs.

Do you have the Street Fighter Capcom fight pad?

From the image the controller's D-pad and right stick look like they are way too far in the middle. I'm also interested to hear what you think of the controller.

The position of the Dpad feels comfertable to me but the right stick is a little bit of a stretch. When I get some time I'm going to pop in CodMW2 and see if it hurts my aiming.

The face buttons are smaller than regular buttons. I think that makes it easier to roll from one button to the next in combos.

The action on the sticks is silky smooth though as far as how they feel when you roll them around.

The Thumb sticks are slight higher than on the regular controller and seems to give a wider range of motion.

The D-pad is as good as I expected. Having an actual crosshair instead of a round surface with a slight raised cross hair is a huge difference especially in acuracy but I didn't play with it much in MvC2 because I'm a analog stick man. Though I might end up changing that if I give it a change.

The trigger are not flat and semetrical but angled in such as way that it is more comertable to press them with the first bend at the end of my index finger than the tips of my fingers. Again I havn't decided if I like this or not.

As far as the Capcom fight pad I wanted one but didn't want to buy such a specialized pad. I wanted something exacly like this that could be used for any game and not just fighters.

Personally I think this is a great pad and combined with a good price and PC compatability I deffinatly don't regret my purchase.

I think its just the type of game that it is, huge discount on the price is normal. But Blur is way better then split second. Excellent game.

I prefered split second to blur but after playing the full version of each I found split second got far more tedious. Blur somehow stayed fun. I wasnt even interested in that game to begin with.

Here is a $20 off coupon for Blur. http://www.blurgamepromotion.com/

Since Blur is going for $39.99 already, you can get it for $20 with the coupon. Not sure if it can be used on Amazon, but one guy got it for $11+tax at Bestbuy. http://gametz.com/forum/Hot_Deals/topic/387200.html#new Too bad it is only USA and Canada.

Since Darren puts up all his new snowboarding gear...here is my new bodyboarding gear and my new copy of Neverwinter Nights.

The New Gear: Ryan Hardy VS Ltd.(still in shrink wrap from Australia), Body Glove Vapor SS, Stealth Fins (Aussie as well), the new ace Bodyboarder Mag T-Shirt

The Quiver: No. 6 Filth Fury & Covenant, Custom X Izm, wet gear and the bottom of the new VS (the rip in the shrink wrap is where US Customs took out the DVD that came with the board because it was PAL format FU Customs!)
