My favorite Robin Hood has always resided in books. No one has really personified that character imho. To the point where I just grin because it's just how I imagined it. Eh.

Looks for spaced now though...

if you like Simon Peggs films you will love Spaced .. spoof films etc ala Shaun of the dead. infact the rambo and zombie spoof episode are totally classic .. the Zombie ep is the reason they wanted to make Shaun of the Dead

the paintlball ep which spoofed rambo was my favorite

Kevin Costner was perfect. He was awesome enough to realize that even a perfect English accent would be equally flawed, because people back then spoke entirely differently. Costner doesn't bother with your nonsense.

Costner was way to dry to be considered Robin Hood. You don't get lots of people to follow you by being quiet emo guy. Emo maybe, quiet not. Never.

Too much emoting with his face and not with his voice. The awkward pauses in that movie are... too much.

Well, Costner's Robin Hood does get props for actually using the Robin Hood Tree.

i'm not 100% thats the real robin hood tree, that was Hadrians Wall on the Scottish border 100s of miles from Nottingham. Frm what i can remeber its called the Robin Hood tree on tours of Hadrians wall coz it was used by film crew in making the film, not coz Robin Hood hung out there.

the major oak in Nottingham is ment to be the real robin hood tree i think
