I don't see a problem with that if it adresses the problems the vanilla release has.

With that said... i doubt it does, and i'm not sure it's even possible. I am happy with DW8XL and i would be happy with a DW9XL or DW10 if it goes back to not being a pointless open world with terrible combat. Really, all they have to do is to keep to their classic formula. It's always what worked. Everytime they tried to "innovate" it turned out worse. Honestly, i'm sure DW fans are happy as long as you expand on the move list and add new stages and characters. That's literally all they need to do. Expand. This wheel can't be re-invented, not does it need to.

Well it turned out to be something nobody wants - at least in the west, it's kind of expected from Koei.
