Capcom games on STEAM

Quote:
Capcom and Valve today announced an agreement that brings a collection of Capcom's current and future PC games to Valve's Steam digital distribution service.

Available later this week, Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition is an action game that follows the stylish demon-slayer Dante as he uses swords and guns to wage a nonstop, one-man battle against the demon world in order to carry out a 2000 year-old revenge.

Coming in the next few weeks, Onimusha 3 is an action game that travels in time between the 16th century Japan and modern-day Paris, pitting two heroes (one a samurai, the other a modern-day fighter played by actor Jean Reno) against a horde of other-dimensional evil.

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition is a critically-acclaimed third person action game from an all-star team of Capcom's game designers, will be available day and date with the retail version of the PC game, currently scheduled for June 26.

Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix downloads Capcom's incredibly popular puzzle game into the new generation, featuring enhanced 1080p HD graphics, several new game modes, improved game balance, and online play and will be available later this year.
w00t. I was actually looking at their list of games since I havent looked in a while. Theres craploads listed now and quite alot of them are pretty well priced at like $20US. Counter strike source for example and other single player games. Excellt buys there.

Also for any Australians who dont have onimusha 3 or DMC3 on their pc and are interested in it, heres a local site thats selling them for $10 each. Pretty awesome.

Great news for digital distribution. Capcom is a fairly big heavyweight in games and them throwing their support behind digital distribution will get more of the market looking into it. Hopefully, more companies will follow their lead.

Lies. I'll take you on any day of the week Alucard.

I've only been defeated once in Puzzle Fighter, and it was by a woman dressed up as the boss from metal gear solid 3.

And she eviscerated me.

Why is this only making the news now? Shouldn't people have figured this out when the Lost Planet demo popped up on Steam some weeks ago? Also, that demo refused to run on my computer :/

I know, Alucard, I know...."UPGRADE YOUR COMPUTER, SPASTIC!". I'll have you know that everything else I've ever encountered on Steam runs just fine.

UPGRADE YOUR COMPU...uh.. Demos are sometimes broken to specific hardware or video driver revision. Best to read up on the Lost planet forums to see if they have a fix.
