Today's trailers:
Once again, the daily Indie Pack is an awesome deal. VVVVVV is an excellent platformer with a terrrific soundtrack. Iron Grip: Warlord is a unique tower defense/FPS game. World of Goo has one of the best soundtracks ever. Machinarium is another great game everyone should own. Today I added IGN reviews for most sale games to the OP. If you need to know about a game, check out its review! |

The two things I would want (Dawn of War and Torchlight) I already have. Not gonna buy the Indie pack just for the sake of it since it probably won't get itself played.
Don't know if its been posted but all the Indie packs have been leaked out: Quote:

I've played lots of games that got "awesome reviews" I then still came up with the conclusion of meh.
World of Warcraft gears of war bioshock Call of Duty games, Halo, borderlands but I will admit the DLC is pretty good. I just got bored of the main game. I'm almost certain the half the game that gets awesome reviews is cause of concept of some form of leveling up. and yes I've played them all and I own most of them and i regret it, I've almost stopped buying games cause of people recommending BAD video games claiming that they're so awesome that they will end gaming cause you won't need another game.... but then the sequels come out!

I think comparing cheap indie games to expensive retail games is like comparing two things that aren't very similar.
![]() I just love indie games - you see creative art, unique gameplay systems, less popular genres, etc. and you don't have to pay much. I guess some people prefer the big, expensive experiences but I often have more fun with indie titles. |

Yeah I wouldnt recommend any of that list. Some are good but not to go out of your way for. This sort of game is different though and worth trying out.

It must have inadvertently read as a comparison. You seemed to say, "Because I did not enjoy these [retail] games that other people liked or recommended, I would not enjoy [indie] games that other people like or recommend." I guess if you just delete the words retail and indie from the sentence, that would be what you really meant.
Glad you like Machinarium though. I bought it for $10 on Steam a while back (yes, I paid more back during the dev sale just to have it on Steam) and it's been a lot of fun. |

You shouldnt be getting any error messages if you've set it up properly. Once you select paypal as payment it'll open a new page and you type in your name and address and everything, and then it'll take you to your paypal address where you accept to send the money. Should be straight forward unless your paypal account isnt set up properly.

Naa it was on Steam's end, PayPal is working a-ok. Contacted support, got a reply in about half an hour from them. Kudos Steam support!
Working fine now.
