Water effects have been great for many years but one area that really needs attention is fire. I have yet to see anyone make a nice looking fire. Almost all the time the structure of it is off or simply 2D.

snow and sand are one of the biggest eyesores for me. even the snow in the crysis games looked bad. looks like someone just came through and spray painted everything white.
