Wonder if that would trigger Konami's interest to continue with the series.

Netflix confirms fourth season for Castlevania animated series

Because Sir Mirror said so

Netflix has made a short-and-sweet announcement that the Castlevania animated series has secured a fourth season. The news was announced via an animated teaser on the official Netflix Twitter.

The first season of Castlevania hit the streaming service back in 2017, and won over fans and critics with its dark storytelling, brooding atmosphere and surprisingly wry sense of humour. It begins with the story of a down-and-out Trevor Belmont, who is called upon to offer his monster-hunting abilities by the land of Wallachia, after Count Vlad Dracula Tepes unleashes a storm of vengeance for the terrible and unjust murder of his wife.

Since the first season, the series has progressed to include more characters, locations and plot-lines - both original and adapted from the many Castlevania video games. The third season debuted on Netflix earlier this month, but there are currently no details regarding the release date of season four.

Castlevania seasons 1-3 are available to stream now on Netflix.

I still need to watch it. Better be as good as they make it sound.

Yeah, i never got the hype on that one. Tried watching the first episode and got too bored to continue watching.

But hey, castlevania is not nearly as long in duration, so it's easier to make the investment.

I watched the first 2 seasons now and i agree.

It's funny cause it feels like western anime from the second season onwards. By that i mean that the lip synch is done with the english voice over in mind. Wich is... different.

The first two seasons were very good imo. The third was basically one big filler stashed with propaganda. It felt like a waste of time.

Vampire Hunter D feel more like Castlevania than the Castlevania "anime" series.

I just watched the 3rd season and it wasn't so bad. It was a bit slower paced cause there were more episodes and Alucards arc was very much filler. But, well... he is the star of the show.

The story of the 3rd season was so dumb.
