Well I have no idea, I've not personally used Dolphin, but the Wii discs will have copy protection, I think you'll need software capable of getting round that if you want to burn an image from them. Try searching around a bit.

You cant really do it since they're made to read from specific drives. You would need to rip it into an iso and then burn it to disc if you wanted, but I think only the LG 8163 l dvd drive can do this. Easiest way, just download any game you are interested in and load it up with the emulator. They usually are about 4gigs in size but if you download ones listed as 'scrubbed' it will be much smaller as they've had all of the useless shit removed that nintendo put in for whatever magic reasons.

yeah, al is correct. apparently only certain drives can read wii disc coz they spin in the opposite direction or some shit. thanks for the "scrubbed" advice. i really just want to see what my games look like in a higher definition. i'm really enjoying Xenoblade but i get a damn headache after playin for 45 minutes to an hour. Same thing with metroid other m...

That's your experience then, I pay for 50mb/s and get 50mb/s, even at peak time. So useful for Steam gaming, especially combined with unlimited bandwidth. Om nom
