Final Fantasy VII Remake new key visual remakes original key visual

I wish they use something else for the game cover, not the same thing after 22 years.

Final Fantasy VII turns 22 in North America.

Square Enix has released a new key visual for Final Fantasy VII Remake to celebrate the original game’s 22nd anniversary in North America. Final Fantasy VII launched for PlayStation on September 7, 1997 in the region.

The new key visual remakes the key visual of the original game, which shows protagonist Cloud Strife facing Shinra Headquarters:

Final Fantasy VII Remake is due out for PlayStation 4 on March 3, 2020.

Expect more information about Final Fantasy VII Remake between September 12 and 15, as Square Enix plans to showcase the remake’s Shinra characters for the first time at Tokyo Game Show 2019 in Chiba, Japan. It will also be playable at the event.

Frankly that's probably the superior choice. You will be able to buy either a nice all in one package at the end or at the very least the first two will be much cheaper when the last part comes out. Plus you won't have to wait four years after the first one to finish the story.
