I'm branching out a little plus for 2.99 you can't go wrong. PC game prices drop at a alarming rate.

Very true. Thats why I love pc gaming. You can get so many awesome titles for such cheap prices. Especially through places like Steam, GoG, and Impulse etc. If you enjoy those games then I'd recommend Destination: Treasure Island. Its very Myst like but also not incredibly hard as to break your mind. There are other very different style of Myst adventure games like The Experiment. That ones very tricky and its pretty much a love or hate type of game. Otherwise check out the Dark Fall series. Really theres too many for me to mention. I love the adventure genre so much. Especially games like Sanitarium, Blade Runner, and Black Mirror. These are my 3 favourite sites for adventure game reviews and info.

Even retail stuff goes on sale on Steam for super low prices eventually. I got GTA 4 for $7.48, BioShock for $5, Devil May Cry 4 for $5, etc..

Just got this

as part of Amazon's Buy 2 get 1 free sale last week. The gun is very good and the game's a lot of fun too. I don't care about the sport of hunting at all, but I am all about shooting virtual bad guys and such with a light gun. Made a thread for it in the 360 section.

35min sounds a bit extreme. What are the specs on that pc. And I wouldnt blame pc gaming for that patch download length. I've never ever seen a patch take long. Unless it was world of warcraft. The patch of MoH is about 400megs. I dunno why its so huge but its pretty much a multiplayer only patch. You dont even need it to play the game. If you really want it then just get it from normal servers. Wont take more then 10min. Most likely 5min. And thats on adsl speeds.

Although I've had my fair share of console games fucking with me when it came to patching. Like some refusing to patch unless I updated my ps3 firmware, and then having to download the patch. Fifa11 was a prime culprit of fucking me off recently.
