I like your first banner, Discomfort Wings, except for the "magicbox" at the top right corner. Why not try taking the current MB logo (just the m and the b, without the whole words), and skew it to fit on the side of the box?
Then again I'm a fan of minimalistic logos. :p This was my submission a long time ago when we were talking about the banner compo behind all you people's backs:  Sadly it did not meed Alucard's seal of approval, not enough bats and vampires I guess.  Or maybe too much Yuna.

I can see the ouline around Yuna! No no no! That graphic reminds me of a typical "sig". Graphic sigs are the most moronic thing you'll see on any forum. I've seen some that have some good designs, but having them on every single post you make is pretty dumb. They make everything look cluttered. Avatars are much better. Most sigs have the hoizontal lines like above. [/sig rant]

I like the logo, but the Magicbox text is way too small. Unless MB will be the branding for the site, then it would be cool. Blue is my fav as well!
