But I'm going to hazard a gues that you'll need a new motherboard. Double check and see how high it can go. Usually the homepage for the models maker will telly ou in the BIOS flash area.

As for card, if you want to spend a disgusting amount, go the 9800pro. Otherwise try very hard to buy a 9700pro because you dont want to be upgrading again in a years time. Especially with that HL2 engine becoming the norm. Make sure its the PRO version and not the normal version. A huge performance difference.

Thanks Alucard! Im not up-to-date on the current wave of hardware. I'll take your word for my deciding factor.

As for my motherboard it's a Soyo KT333 Dragon Ultra Platinum. There are two different models of amd xp cpu: Thoroughbred and Palomino. My motherboard supports Thoroughbred (2.6gig) yet only supports Palomino (2.1gig).

Do you know any more info about these two models?

its like everquest you select fight and your character continues to attack normaly until you select special commands you character blocks and dodges himself based on what position and move your doing and also based on your opponents attack power speed and accuracy.......spiff you seem real interested...i recommend it highly...ask atarix..we all know hes real hard to please...unless of course microsoft makes it...(cheap shot)...in the ribs...ooohhh yeahhhh....just kidding atari..

(Joke) Well considering FFXII isn't online, go with SWG!!! (End of Joke)

I would go with SWG personally... it has more longiveity than FFXI does due to the fact well... do you really think Lucasarts is going to bandon a cash cow? Plus once vehicles (space and land), player cities, and the great question, How do I become a Jedi are figured out, then I don't see any game that can come close to SWG. Both games need, and I do mean need a absolute great player community to survive, SWG so far has that going for it, I don't know how FFXI will do because well... it's not out.

I saw my mistake right after I posted, but I knew that everyone would know what I was talking about. Too lazy to edit it.

In SWG can you fight PvP or not? Cuz I know you cant in FFXI
