The Movies ships + review

One of the few Lionhead games I was actually curious about. Actually, the only one. And by the sound of the review this place seemed to really like it. Heres little bit from it..

Quote:
Graphics:
Wonderful little characters at work, but so much detail when you zoom in. 9

Durability:
It's not just a game, it's a movie studio. 10

Sound:
Entertaining radio banter through the ages. Some great movie parody music. 8

Gameplay:
Some niggles that will probably be easily fixed, a real triumph of gameplay. 9

Overall rating: 9
Sounds good. I look forward to messing with it!

Will this play like The Sims? Looks kinda weird but in the same time a bit interesting. I don't like The Sims-type games though.

Yeah it looks like the sims + rollercoaster tycoon. Dunno if it thats a good combo, but that review makes it out to be good. I might try it out.

I used to have a game just like this when i was little. It was alot cruder and simplistic, but you basicly made movies. It was alot of fun.

I might aquire this game once my PC works.

I really want this game, but I wish I could try it out before to see how the movie-making mode works and how it runs on my computer.

hehe. Usually with Lionhead, they release a demo in the first month of release. NORMAL companies release a demo 3-4 weeks before the game comes out, they do it backwards.
