Backing up work.

Hi guys. I'm doing some pretty important coursework on my PC over the last few weeks. I need to make sure it is safe. At the moment, my computer says that it cannot load my profile and therefore wipes all my documents from the computer, as it loads me a temporary file. (I'm trying to solve this at the moment, any tips are appricated).

I have to back up my work, since the PC is in a wierd mood not loading my profile. I save documents onto a USB pen I have. I email myself very important coursework, but I want to know how to save Word documents onto a CD-ROM?

Thank you.

What important work do you need to back up? An essay about barbies?

Why do you need to put this shit on a CD when you have them on your E-Mail? Seems kinda pointless.

I agree. Stick with the email method since these files are so tiny. Its faster and easier too.

Well, yes, but a hardcopy would be useful. Does anyone know how to put documents onto a CD anyway? (just for the record)

For fuck's sake, it's not hard. I just tried it for a word file because I'm bored. Follow this easy-to-understand-guide-for-retards(I named it myself), and you should be fine.

1. Insert empty CD(lol i hope i didnt lose u)
2. Go to my computer
3. Double click(Yes, DOUBLE click) the CD-drive
4. There should be an empty window. Now open whatever folder your word file is in
5. Just drag n' drop the word file to the empty window
6. Burn on CD
