90% of people probably thought it was an original IP.
I liked Syndicate though, it tried to innovate and I think it worked, personally, but I guess I'm not the majority thinking that way. The hacking should have been more prominent, rather than being a little distraction amidst generic firefights, and it would have stood out more.

It probably did it more good than bad. Syndicate fans would of looked into the game and some of them gotten it. I only considered playing it because of the name. But after watching a couple stages of it I passed. Had I not seen it over my friends place I probably would of gotten it down the line when it was on special.

Just checked the number for it and it did about 170k sales.
Indeed it was poor, but i wont shed a tear for an FPS.
