That looks nice and all, but I think I'll stick with purchasing a 5850 instead.

No physX effects. Recommend against it.

you can still use phsyx on ati cards, but it's more taxing to the system (which prob doesn't matter for a 5850 system).

No you cant. Unless you have older drivers. Which means you cant install any new drivers ever again because the features gone. Only way to get it working again is to install an nvidia card in first then an ati card. But thats just being stupid. Stick with nvidia. Far easier and less issues then the ati cards.

there's patches/tools to make it easier than that, i did it with batman on my 4890. i agree though, i wouldn't recommend an ati equivalent card over an nvidia, i only got this one because i got a good deal on it. nvidia has built in physx and better driver updates.

Screw PhysX. The only crap thing about ATI's new cards at the moment are their poorly written drivers.

Well if they get things right with Dx11 , then PhysX won't be necessary in future.

The PC I've been putting together has parts specifically for ATI cards and AMD Processors. For what Nvidia does, it isn't as satisfying as ATI has been to me, and if you can find a better Nvidia card thats cheaper than the 5850 then I may bite, otherwise I'm sticking with what I know.
